Etsy's big shop banner is 3360 × 840 pixels (4:1) and the mini banner is 1200 × 160. Drop your artwork below, choose the banner preset, and position the crop so your logo and text survive Etsy's responsive layouts.
On iPhone/iPad, "Download all" may open the images instead of saving a ZIP — save them one by one from the preview (long-press → Save to Photos / Files).
A 4:1 banner is an awkward shape for most source images. Two things go wrong: the artwork is scaled to fit and leaves empty bars on the sides, or it is cropped and the shop name ends up cut off on one side.
The fix is to control the crop yourself. Choose the banner preset, then drag the image until the important part — usually the logo plus the tagline — sits comfortably inside the frame, away from the extreme edges. Etsy overlays shop information on parts of the banner and the layout shifts between desktop and mobile, so leaving margin around your text is safer than filling the frame exactly.
Both banner sizes are available as presets here, and you can output all of them in one pass: big banner, mini banner and icon together, compressed under 1 MB each, downloaded as a single ZIP.
| Placement | Size (px) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Listing photo | 2000 × 2000 | Minimum 2000px on shortest side for zoom |
| Big shop banner | 3360 × 840 | 4:1 desktop header |
| Mini shop banner | 1200 × 160 | Narrow strip banner |
| Shop icon | 500 × 500 | Displayed as a circle |
| Listing landscape | 2700 × 2025 | 4:3 flat-lay friendly |
| Listing portrait | 1500 × 2000 | 3:4 clothing friendly |
The big shop banner is 3360 × 840 pixels (a 4:1 ratio). The mini banner, used as a narrower strip, is 1200 × 160 pixels.
Etsy crops and re-lays out banners across breakpoints. If your artwork fills the 4:1 frame edge to edge, the mobile crop eats the sides. Keep the important elements inside the middle of the frame when you position the crop.
